Although I’ve yet to visit Vietnam, I’ve heard nothing but amazing things from friends fortunate enough to experience this remarkable country. They rave about its stunning landscapes, warm and welcoming people, and, of course, its incredible cuisine.
Vietnam’s rich and complex history includes the upheaval of the Vietnam War in the 1950s and 60s, which prompted many Vietnamese to seek refuge in far flung parts of the world. Along with them, they brought the flavors and traditions of their homeland, spreading Vietnamese cuisine far and wide. Today, it’s pretty easy to find Vietnamese restaurants in most major cities, offering a taste of this vibrant culture. Here are a couple of spots right here in Barcelona that I’ve really enjoyed…

Go for the tasting menu! Excellent value and a chance to try a variety of different dishes, each one more delicious than the next. And top it all off with a sweet Vietnamese coffee!
